Editorial policy

In carrying out its activities, the Editorial Board of the online scientific periodical "Caurus" adheres to the following principles:

• meeting the requirements of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);
• maintaining editorial independence;
• assuring quality of published materials;
• systematic development of the scientific periodical;
• ensuring freedom of opinion expression of the authors and reviewers;
• guarantee of compliance with intellectual property rights;
• promotion of scientific integrity;
• increased attention to materials containing fundamentally new scientific information;
• informing authors about publishing rules and manuscript design requirements;
• ensuring anonymity when reviewing submitted articles;
• improving recommendations, rules, and forms of reviewing manuscripts;
• improving mechanisms for resolving all kinds of conflicts of interest that may arise in the process of publishing activities of the online scientific periodical;
• promptly publishing materials related to certain aspects of the scientific discussion and new visions of the authors and expressed as corrections, clarifications, refutations, and apologies, if necessary;
• politeness and tolerance in communication.
